What is a good price for a 99 SS900 with 13k miles?

I'm new to Ducati's and am looking at buying a used 1999 SuperSport 900 from a Ducati Dealership. The bike is yellow with approx. 13k miles on it. It has a few aftermarket parts such as ferracci pipes, carbon clutch cover and new windscreen. The dealer claims that they just did a 12k service on it and is ready to go. They are asking $5,000 for the bike. It appears that the bike is in good shape. There are a couple scratches on the bottom part of the fairing (skirt) and the rest looks good from what I can tell. Do you think this is a good price for this bike? Also, what else should I look for service wise and anything else for that matter? At this mileage, what else may the bike need? Finally, is this bike reliable and does it still have a lot of life left in it at 13k miles? Thanks.

firstly if that's not a rock bottom, great price already then I'm going off to slash my wrists now. I have an 01 with about 25 000 miles.. so the life of the bike is nothing.. barely run in. Lots of guys here have well over 30 000. My suggestion is buy it and give them an extra grand for doing such a great deal. I guess you're in the states.
I'd be hoping that 6-7 would be a fair price. (your money not ours)

Seems like a reasonable price, though check out some new Duc's first, you might get a deal on a "leftover".
(I paid $7,500 for my 900ssie "new" 0 miles and full warranty in '04)

In December I paid $4800 for a '00 900SSie half fairing in pretty good shape with 9100 miles. Cost me $200 to put it in great shape. So around $5000 is about right compared to what I paid.

Cheap?

I'm paying 10.600 $ for an 1998 900 SS with 18.000 miles on it.

I think I could get used to cheaper bikes and a warmer climate.
