Slipper clutch installed, NICE!

Just wanted to share my experience with you.

I wanted to buy an open clutch cover and nice pressure plate but then I was offered a nice TSS slipper cluth with 48 teeth clutch basket.

I was a bit concerned about doing the installation myself but managed to do. Fabricated my own tool to hold the clutch hub from a few old plates. Boy, 190 Nm for the clutch nut is a lot of torque....

This morning made a 160 km ride on it. This clutch is really nice, it's so smooth. I had not expected much from it but I'm very pleased with it now. Wonder how much quicker my clutch plates will wear out.

Clutch is also a lot lighter, clutch basket is 420 grams, clutch hub is 960 grams, I need to check the weights of the new pressure plate and the original parts to compare. Together with the light flyweel is feels very light/flickable.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

PS. TSS is the same slipper clutch as the Yoyodyne one.
