I had some FZR wheels on a sport, spacers had to be made and speedo drive tab recesses. The FZR discs were the same offset as the Ducati items.

I'm sure anything can be done. A fairly common "upgrade" for the older Paso bikes with 16" wheels is to use early GSXR wheels for a conversion. Chances are, with any conversion, fabricated spacers will be required. There may also be an issue with the Ducati rotors not bolting to the new wheels or the Japanese rotors having the wrong off-set, so some caliper mounting brackets may need to be fabricated, also.

Timely post!

The other I was looking at the Brembo (but shaped like 5 spoke Marchesini) wheels on my Aprilia Falco and I could swear by sight that they would fit on a wide axle Ducati.

At least I know the fork / disc offset is OK because I've just uprated the calipers to 4-pad Brembo goldlines from a 748R; I did this on my 900ss (with adapters and iron rotors) and the brakes are superb now - I hope the Falco will be almost as good

Good luck - Frank
