Eastern Cycle SS Bar raisers...Any Alternative?
The standard SS bars are killing my wrists now and I have to come up with an alternative. I really don't want to spend a few hundred dollars on a couple of steel tubes, but I notice Eastern Cycle don't make their raisers for the 800 SS any more.
Anyone know of a similar alternative?

I'm gathering that you're not wanting to go for the cycle cats then?
I have nothing but good things to say about the cycle cats. adjustability is really nice.

There were some bars from Kaemna mentioned a week or so ago. Was it ever decided if they required fairing mods? They looked pretty cool.
This might sound completely counterintuitive, but i've found my wrists getting less sore since I moved the clipons under the triple. I can put more of my weight on the tank, and tucking in feels much more natural.

it makes sense.
I have short arms...though, so raising the bars and putting more of an angle on them helped me out tremendously.

Might be a bit extreme for you but I ended up dropping the yokes down on the forks so that I could put clip-ons ON TOP of the top yoke.
Dropping the yokes 20mm seemed absurd but didnt actually make the bike that nervous:
ALso please see here:

Thanks everyone for the input. The bars, like the sprockets, seem to be something that just about everyone changes at some time. I think I'm going with cyclecat after chatting with Jan.

Ferraci also makes alternative bar mounts that both raise the bars and change their angles for more comfort.
The Cycle Cats are beautifully made, but the SS fairing design precludes using all that built-in adjustability - you'll hit the fairing at full lock.

it depends on how you have them.
I have them comfortable for me and at full lock I don't hit anything.
