Am the only 03' 800 Sport out there? - Ducati.ms

New to the Ducati world, been a CBR guy for the last 15 years. Always wanted a Duc and came across this 03 Sport that I could not pass up (only 3k miles) and completely stock.

I know, I know it's the same bike as the 04-up Super Sport but have not seen any Threads mentioning the infamous Sport. Been reading through a lot of these to see what the best products for this bike is. Of course its time for this Sport to sport a new look (and hopefully some HP). Money is an object for me so best bang for the buck.

Exhaust - Leo Vince seems to be popular, thinking of the oval Carbon Fiber slip on? Other than the Ducati aftermarket any other slips on that would provide better performance?

Seat - Seems the Sargent Seat is pretty nice, again carbon fiber with black trim

I have already ordered a fender kit, integrated taillight, and ZG Dble Bubble windshield.

I also heard that Carbon Fiber Belt covers, sprocket cover and clutch cover are the same as a Monster of the same year? Can anyone confirm that?

Not a SS but just an S. Seen no listings for just a Sport?? Yeah plenty of SS. Just wondering if anyone is admitting they actually have a 03' Sport?

Yes. My silver one is a Sport converted to full UK SS spec including a bit more. For exhausts see ARC Fabrication... a work of art.

800 Monster covers fit straight on - I think 750ssie and M750 ones do as well. Lots of other SSie bits do too.

I have LeoVince aluminium slipons on my bike. They sound wonderful...a deep growl. Not sure about any power boost because, in earnest, I couldn't give a toss.
