exhaust options for '95 CR
I recently picked up a '95 900 SS/CR. It has Two Brothers CF slip-ons on it. The left side one has cracked at the mounting band. Some quick research seems to indicate very few suppliers for exhaust for this bike. Two Brothers doesn't seem to make anything for this bike anymore. I am going to contact Two Brothers about the availability of a replacement but what other options are available, either full system or preferably slip-ons? I think Staintune still makes them but they are ungodly expensive.

Hi,
If the headers are intact I would reccomend that you shop around for Monster pipes. The slipons from a M900 should fit and they (the pipes) are easier to find. Leovince is good stuff, see if you can find a pair of those.
If your in the EU you will have a harder time finding pipes, due to regulations you have to run pipes that were made for your bike. The pipes are manufacured with a number that is bike specific... That reduces the list down to Staintune,GPR,Scorpion and a few other "unknown" brands... Hawk,Viper... cheap but quality is unknown...

Can you be a little more specific? I assumed the headers were the same...

But the monster cans aren't so wont fit an SS frame as they'll be at the wrong angle/postion. Ps not sure if the headers are the same either but the monster cans wont fit . SSie cans are are a better bet but will appear too long on a carbie SS and may need custom mounts (dont know never tried it but have seen pics of them fitted).

Is the carbon can tube cracked?
One of my carbon Yosh cans vibrated the rivet holes oversized, meaning I had the strip it, cut it down to good carbon & redrill the holes? Can as good as new, just a little shorter?
I have seen new carbon can tubes for sale, but cant find the link... you would have to rebuild the cans with the new tubes then source new decals from eBay etc?

Yes the CF can is cracked. Looks like a combination of overtightening the mounting ring when the ring didn't really fit the can profile (crushing the can a bit) and also just vibration.
Yes one possibility is to try and source a replacement CF can. Don't care about the decals or anything.

Dunno Handensco.
Can't say for sure if they'll fit or not on the FI bikes.
