Spark Plug - What do you Like ?

What Brand and type spark plug do you prefer ? I haven't been able to find a lot of different choices listed for the 900 carby. My bike came with Champions, and a spare set. I keep cleaning them, and they seem okay. Is there an alternative that is an improvement ? I have always been a fan of ND "hot U" plugs. I have not seen a listing for my motor though. How are the Iridium Plugs ? Worth the money ?

I don't have a clue what plugs are in mine. I just go down to JHP in Coventry and get the bits for the service which includes a set if plugs. Having said that, the engine is totally standard so there's no real need to move from the oem plugs

Was running Brisk BOR12LGS plugs(2.9mm gap!), swapped to NGK Iridiums (1mm gap), may swap back to the Brisk plugs now I have my new C/Cycleworks hi-volt coils...

All the mechanics I know (car and bike) will only use NGK or Bosch. I've had Champions with no problem. I've never noticed a difference between any of them actually. Then again I'm kind of dense.

If those came out your bike the NGK plugs look like they are burning o.k. they have good color, the one on the right looks like a little oil burning but not bad.

I've usually used NGK, as they're a good plug and easy to obtain. I like being different, however, and have started using Denso plugs instead. I've been having a good run from the Desno plugs, too. Insisting on Denso plugs gives me good reason to whine at local retailers for only stocking one brand of plug. I like a good whine.

I'm interested in reports about the Brisk plugs, as they make a plug that fires three times for each ignition impulse. Has anybody used this plug? Any noticeable improvements?
