Twin exhaust for 600ss

Hi All,
Im picking up a '97 600SS tomorrow, Is it possible to fit twin exhausts? I think I'm right in thinking the 750ss of the same year has twin exhausts?

Whats the best way to go about it?

I cant say I know much about these Ducati's as I'm into my earlier single cylinders!

Hi,

yes, all the carb 750ss had twin exhausts. You should be able to fit a complete 750ss system (headers & exhausts) onto a 600ss (I'm guessing you would still have the anchor point on the passenger footrest on the 600), or the headers from a carb 600/750 carb monster and fit aftermarket cans of your choice. The headers from a 900ss are dimensionally slghtly different and wouldn't fit a 600.
