Frame straightening
Anyone ever had to have their frame straightened? My rear sub-frame is bent (off-rubber excursion at the track) and it's starting to bother me, although it doesn't seem to affect handling. I don't think a big 2X6 would do the job, and I'd like to keep the original frame for titling purposes, rather than buying a used one and having to have a salvage title. Options? I have had these guys straighten a bent wheel years ago and they seem to have good results.

Any autobody shop should be capable of straightening it.
My dad owns an autobody shop, and I got to use all his fancy tools when I twisted up my SV650.

You never saw that movie, did you?
A subframe isn't real finicky...the 2x6 method would be fine.

BakonDuc,
You beat me too it!
[after Spicoli wrecks Jefferson's car]
Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill you and he's gonna kill me, he's gonna kill us!
Jeff Spicoli: Hey man, just be glad I had fast reflexes!
Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna shit!
Jeff Spicoli: Make up your mind, dude, is he gonna shit or is he gonna kill us?
Jefferson's Brother: First he's gonna shit, then he's gonna kill us!
Jeff Spicoli: Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.
One of my all time favorite scenes.

Yes, the moral of the story is your dad needs to have this ultimate set of tools in order to straighten your frame.
**not really, a 2x6 and some prybars would probably also suffice.
