Help wanted locating Owner's Manual
I just purchased a '99 750SS. I have been trying to find an Owner's Manual, not a Service Manual. I did a search on this Forum, on the web at large (Google, eBay, Amazon, etc.), and even went to the dealer yesterday, but no luck.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Here's a PDF copy I came across while searching for one for my 1994. You can download it from this link: http://db.tt/HPLlnKqc
I'm new to using dropbox, so if that's a bust let me know and I'll try again. As far as a paper copy goes, I'm afraid I'm not much help! Good luck.

Hi Guys
Looks like i'ma a bit late ! The link is out of date !
Was that pdf covering fuel injected models ?
If so anyone could put it back on ?
It would be a great help for me for my 2002 750 SS ie as i only have a manual for carb engine... not sure if it's all the same...
Thanks for your help !

I just had a look at my owner's manual. The small red covered book. About 6 x 4 x 3/4 inch.
The main text on the cover is DUCATISUPERSPORT.
FYI, this manual covers both the 750 and 900. In the tech spec section data for the 750 and 900 is shown.
I.e. don't look for a specific 750 manual.

Hi Punch,
Thank you for your reply.
You are right, i have this owner manual.
But i am looking for a workshop manual with valve timing figures. I have 900SSie workshop manual which is fine as the frames and equipement are identical.
But engine, injection and specific bits are missing. Thanks to this forum, i gathered many useful informations.
But still, having 750SSie workshp manual as a pdf would be a great help.
Thanks for your time guys.

Valve timing. According to the Ducati Belt Drive Two Valve Twins book by Ian Fallon, 99 onwards 750 details are
Inlet opens 12 deg BTDC
Inlet closes 70 deg ABDC
Exhaust opens 56 deg BBDC
Exhaust closes 25 deg ATDC
All are +/-5 deg and measurement clearance 1mm.
I think for the bulk of the bike, the 900 manual will be pretty much the same procedures, torque, assembly, adjustment, except the wet clutch which is not rocket science.
