Question 900 SS frost pans, where to buy ?

I just had my cylinders bored out by Millenium Technologies.
They are still somewhere in a Japanese post office but I hope to get them back this week.

The frost pans get destroyed in the boring out process.
I am looking at the parts list but don't see these anywhere.

Can someone tell me where I can buy new frost pans ?

"frost pans"?

Something is being lost in translation here, my friend- I wonder what parts you're referring to. Anybody else know?

Dunno either Sandman.

core plugs (freeze plug is a misnomer) of all different sizes can be had at any decent auto parts store (i.e., not AutoZone and its ilk). Farming equipment dealers, industrial equipment suppliers, etc.

Some also call them welsh plugs at least the Aussie car world used to.

I had not noticed them in the Ducati Parts Manuals before but they are there - and are on one of the last pages that show the heads.

87310051A 18
87310011A 16
87310021A 10

If you type in Ducati then the part number (without the 20/18/16/10 etc) you should find a few that sell them.

He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a pebble and rolling an ankle.

Being the son of a Taffy I couldn't let this go. I know that many people improperly refer to them as welsh plugs in Aus, but the truth of the matter is (if Wikipedia is right on this) "The Welch plug was originally designed by the Welch Brothers of the Welch Motor Car Company of Pontiac Michigan in the early 1900s."
