Talking Parts seller recommendation ?

I need to buy cam belts and a sealing washer for my oil screen. Closest dealer is 50-75 mi. away. I'm looking for recommendations for an online supplier in U.S. Price - wise are they all the same ? I'd like someone who is a SS specialist, if such exists. Is there more than one belt supplier ? If so , which are best and where do I get them ? - Dave

I use Ducati Omaha and find them to be very efficent and have the parts breakdowns and prices on there site.

We've got them in stock - can order easily here: Ducati OEM Parts (edit - just realized you probably have a pre-99 SS by your user name. If you need me to supply part numbers let me know, the pdfs from Ducati don't go back that far).

If you want an alternative to OEM checkout CA-Cycleworks exact fit belts. Quite nice.

With consumables, they're all much of a muchness although one can save a few dollars shopping around. For this sort of stuff though, I prefer to use a site sponsor like desmoworks above.

If Chris CA-Cycleworks doesn't have it then the stealer gets my $$$. I have a good relationship w/ my dealer and usually get a 10-15% discount on OEM parts.

If you are seasoned using the internet... Don't rely on one seller. Shop around. The best places I have seen are Ebay and right here on Ducati.ms. There have been a few occasions where a member has offered me the exact part I was looking for. The vendors here are great as well, but it's not always the right place to go (If you do, I like motowheels and ca-cycleworks).

remember... shop around. I am a master at finding great deals.
