Cyclone V2 alarm

Hi Guys

Just purchased a Cyclone V2 bike alarm, fitting seems very easy, one issue, as my 1000ss already has a factory immobiliser is it even worth connecting the alarm immobiliser? i'm not gonna bother with the remote start either, just dont want any issues if i connect the alarm immobiliser (seems pointless as i already have one) will the alarm work without this?

Cheers

Ok so still no response from the Cyclone website regarding where the ignition fuse is (Even though they did say they would provide a diagram for my Duc) so can someone here answer a simple question, is the ignition fuse actually the solenoid fuse? seems to make sense to me, but wanna be sure :-)

Hope this helps

These are scans from my Shop Manual for my '99 750SS (wiring shouldn't change much if at all)

#18 says to key switch, which I would think of as the ignition. and if you look on the diagram, it's a brown wire

Diagram Legend
