Thumbs up Leaky clutch slave?

Ducati Stock Clutch Slave Piston Upgrade | eBay

Good deal if you don't want to replace the whole slave cylinder, and they are out of business now. I should have ordered 2!

I was just looking at the spare parts catalog for my 2006 800ss, and I don't see this as a replacement part. Is this something that would work for my application? The slave just started leaking, of course.

Dunno. The ebay ad says 1991-2000.
Desmo Times Product 175 - Evo OEM Piston Upgrade
Don't know if that helps.

Yep, thank you. That answers it... Not valid for my 2006 800ss

"On the left an older 1991-2000 style slave cylinder. This generation also came with the banjo attaching at the top instead of the front of the slave. The Evo piston upgrade is designed for Type 1 Slave cylinders. On the right, the Type 2 new style slave used since 2000. If you have this style of slave cylinder, this product WILL NOT fit. There is no replacement piston for the Type 2 newer style slaves."
