(Ah dammit...) slave cylinder leaking. :(

Hi all,

Went out for a thrap round this afternoon, arrived back home to find a steady drip-drip from my slave cylinder...

The cylinder itself is the same as this one & was fitted by the last owner, I remember there being another spare slave in the box of bits I got with the bike so Im thinking it may have been upgraded, can anybody confirm this, if so what cylinder make is it please?

For about $30 you could get a new piston. I think they're made by Evoluzione. Kind of an upgrade I guess.

I used an ordinary 'O'ring to do a 'temporary repair on mine along with DOT5.1 fluid. It lasted for over 7 months before I got round to putting the standard seal in with no ill effects. My standard cylinder needed a 19mm inside diameter x 4mm thick ring.
