I am new to Supersports, but I had shortened the rear shock on my other bikes to lower the bike. But I always raised my forks in the triple crown the same amount as the rear was shortened, so as not to alter the geometry of the bike. Doing that along with shaving the seat was generally enough to allow me to flat foot on my bikes.
