Successfully lowered my SS

Finally successfully lowered my 99ss,I used a shock from a 2010 hyper.the bushings are a bit wider,so I spread the top flanges a bit and has to sand the lower bushing on the shock to fit the swing arm.so far it rides just fine. One other mod I had to do is re do the exhaust,it was hanging a little too low,so I cut and raised the front pipe, looks way better now as stock they hang was down. If anyone wants more detail I'll post more.

I am new to Supersports, but I had shortened the rear shock on my other bikes to lower the bike. But I always raised my forks in the triple crown the same amount as the rear was shortened, so as not to alter the geometry of the bike. Doing that along with shaving the seat was generally enough to allow me to flat foot on my bikes.
