DuCafe 750ss project. Suggested improvements
You will be able to see from my other post, I am building a 750ss Cafe Racer
The forks are being stripped and rebuilt, the cam belts are being changed
Is there anything I should consider sorting out?
The bike will not be raced or thrashed so out and out performance is not necessary
I don't intend spending a lot either
Maybe different filters?
What about different oil in the forks?
I would think that dual front discs would improve the bike, or maybe they are not needed?
I assume there are a few things to do that make the bike better without spending a fortune?
I look forward to reading your suggestions

Ey up,
Not sure if you have these items allready but you could try straight through cans, open airbox and dyno jet kit for the carbs.
Might be able to help with the cans.

Would'nt work asthetically if you ask me. They would need a nasty clamp to attach them to the header thus loosing the sleak lines needed for a cafe racer!!!
I'll give you a ring Phil.

How much do you weigh? If you're just looking for making the bike function better, I think some fork upgrades to an adjustable setup would help you with different springs matched to your weight. Since you already have the forks apart, it should be easy. Another easy upgrade would be to change the gearing.
