Someone parting a 1995 SS on ebay, if anyone needs anything. Shame to see bikes parted, unless you need parts, which I often seem to on my track bike .

I've noticed that lots of parts seem to be available on Ebay these days for the carby 900SS. Lots of good usable bodywork. I was wading through last night and picked up a brand new set of Carrillo H-beam connecting rods for my '95.
Anybody out there know where I can get a decent carbon fiber rear chainguard (not the front one that covers the drive sprocket) for a 1995 900SS CR with the steel swingarm?

I bought one for my 93 with alloy swing-arm from Shift-Tech a couple of years ago. I don't recall ever seeing it on their website but I got a picture from somewhere and sent them an email. For what it is, it was probably a tad expensive ($75 sounds familiar) but I did need to have one.
He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a pebble and rolling an ankle.

Found one while looking to try and not buy some other stuff. Ducati does list two different part numbers in the list I have 446.1.001.1B for alloy and 446.1.001.1A for steel swing-arm. Don't know what the difference would be but this one just says for SuperSport
