An oncoming Winter means time in the garage dropping the motor out to get fitted with hi-comp pistons, shim check etc... have spent a few months getting together the necessary o-rings & tools to ensure a trouble-free fitting, wasn't happy with replacing the rusty head nut D washers with the original Ducati ones as the plating doesnt seem to last, being especially troubled on the front pot.
Couldnt find anyone that made any so decided to make my own... a little homework found that penny-washers would have the correct sized hole & diameter to cut some out of, just meant a little work.
Quite handy with cutting stainless what with regular production of my SS casesavers so got to it - pleased with the results! Used a new OE washer as a pattern, this is in the middle:
