Cool carbonfibre baby!

As I´m working as an engineer/r&d for a company producing carbon-fibre material and parts, I had myself made some nice fairing-sets for my old lady (SS900, 95´).
Weight:
Superlight-seat: 625g
Center-fairing: 201g
Carenata side: 825g/ea
Nuda side: 332g/ea.

to get an Impression: original Carenata side: 2681g/ea!

I already have most other parts swapped for cf, just some nice wheels are still missing to get myself pleased.
If somebody is interested in a swap: 3-pcs Nuda front-fairing for some used 5-spoke marchesini, let me know!

Hopefully, I´ll have them polyester-painted by January, so they´ll never ever get bleached by the sun!

Anybody got a source for a Carbonfibre fueltank for the old SuperSport?

Greetings:

Gorgeous pieces! Excellent fit and finish. If you are entrepreneurial enough, I'd be down for some pieces as well.

Cheers,
Ricky

hallo Mitsch, sieht sehr gut aus.

vorn haben die 5 Speichen eine 25mm Achse,
da brauchst Du eine andere Gabel oder zumindest andere Lager.

liebe Grüsse aus Hamburg

Hi to everybody else, I did not post for a quite a while,
as I am a happy Moto Guzzi rider now.

Those are beautiful! I have a set of used 5 spoke magnesium Marchesini's I'm not using, but I'm nowhere near Germany!

Regards,

Jeff

That looks really nice ! If you consider making copies, I'd be definitely interested.

I'll second that!
Looks nice and me wanna!

I have CF fairings on my track bike, but they have seen better days and have holes in them from the previous owner.
Don't know how to repair them or even if they can be repaired

Hi Henk,

The last one I saw was in less than perfect (read needed help) condition and it sold for 600 Euros within an hour of it being posted...
