SS Airbox compatability - Ducati.ms

Does anyone know if the monster airbox is the same as the SS?

I have a '97 600ss and one of the mounting lugs of the airbox is missing. There's a 2000 monster dark one on Ebay and it looks the same from the photo, but just wanted confirmation.

Nope, Monster airboxes don't have the mounting lugs on the side according to me.

Thanks for that. Couldn't see from thw photo, but now you say it, it does look that way.
