I've always gone by the rule that it's your machine now do whatever you want with it. If you don't like it you can always change it back, simple as that.
To be honest I couldn't care less about sacrilege JPW. For your viewing pleasure here are a coupla pics of a project VFR800 that I'm currently working on.
I couldn't decide what color I wanted to use so I just went ahead and used them all. LOL!

lol.
It's a project bike I call "The Jokermobile". It's supposed to look goofy and crazy.
As long as the little kids and the pretty girls like it what do I care.

@ stosh's, um, project: In college there was a house that was painted similar to your bike. The landlord told the tennants they'd get a free month rent if they repainted the house. So they painted each exterior wall a different color. It was garish, but surprisingly OK.
It's your bike, do whatever you want. You're not restoring Paul Smart's Imola-winning bike or anything like that.

I think your Photoshop has crashed??
Good work tho! That aint ever going to get stolen...
As mentioned before, its your bike - Kandy apple would look good with some retro Ducati graphics, in a '70's way?
