What to do? Part, store, or project
So I picked up another 900ss the other day. This makes 4th in the garage. The bike is complete but a previous owner didn't make friends well and someone decided to take it out on his poor ss. I am pretty sure the bike was a cr when it started life. Neways, the motor is a big dice roll. But I have a back up for my number one duc, so when it finally needs a refresh I can still ride with a spare motor while the orignal is being refreshed. The bikes been sitting for sometime and one of the belts was broken, I don't think it broke while running. The other belt just snaped when I went to remove it. Going to take a peek inside the cylinders with a scope in the days to come. So with out saying some bits on the bike will be kept or rotated onto other bikes but should I slap this thing together to make a grocery bike or recoupe some cash and part with bits? Not going to get rich either way I go. I hate to part with any SS. I always think what if all the parts dry up and my number one duc needs that little??? My closest friends say I have a sickness with these bikes. In all honesty I would love to have one from each model year. I know they are so similar it doesn't make a difference but it would just be cool IMO. Let me know what you think.

If you have the space to store it and don't need the cash, keep it. Then you can use it for parts for your other ones, build it up, or keep it as a hack. Nice to have options.

+1. I broke a part on my track bike and it sure was nice to have a spare right there. By the way, how was Jennings?

I think your closest friends are right. Sick, sick, sick.
So embrace the sickness. Keep the bike. The closer you get to owning the model year sweep, the more you'll need this one for parts, ya?

Having spares at hand is always nice with these old ladies
I'm using my track bike as a spare parts catalogue for my Superlight On top of that, I have a spare frame as well. You never know when it might come in handy!

I'd probably keep it too . I plan to get a second one in the not too distant future . I doubt there will ever be another bike I like as well as the mid 90's SP's . Would be great to have a spare for all of the reasons mentioned . Garage space is a problem for me so one might have to go in the dining room . That way I could look over at it periodically when I'm watching TV in the living room

If you are in the area popularly known as "The Dragon", 129 or Deals Gap, let me know.
Thanks for the input. On the topic everyone.
