High mileage carbie s.sport
Hi guys...used to have a 96 sp..sold it about a year and a half ago, in hindsight a dumb move, so I'm looking to possibly get another.
I've found a 97 sp and a 98 fe in my area, but both have over 30k miles...would any of you hesitate getting a hi mileage carbie ?
Thanks

I bought a '97 SS/SP new in '98 and rode it for 30K mi. Not one problem and it was running perfectly until someone pulled out of a parking garage and totaled it and me. Didn't see me of course. But, if the bike has been properly ridden and maintained I'd have no problems. Probably get it for nothing too.

I'd be in for $3400 cash without a doubt and I don't even care for yellow ones.

Beautiful bike. Buy it and consider yourself fortunate for owning such a wonderful example.

The yellow 900SS seems to be more value for money. The extra dollars for the FE are sentimental value only. But then again, you'll have something very special
