Help w/Ricambi - Weiss parts

I've been trying to get a set of the short supersport sides for 2 months now, without any luck.

I've tried emailing them a few times, without a response. I'm not sure if it's the language barrier?

Anyone here have a few minutes that could help out?

DHL will ship from Germany to US fairly cheaply.

I know Kaemna carries the same parts....but marks them up almost 150 euros!

Maybe they don't ship to the US?

English shouldn't be a problem since their site is available in English and most Germans speak a fair amount of English.

I do think the Kaemna version of the fairings is a whole lot stronger than the Ricambi weiss ones.
And make that almost 230 euro's instead of 150

I have had this problem in the past. I wanted the Ricambi version of the SS front fairing with the dual round headlights. I asked Ducati Kaemna to get the part from them and they did. It seems that Ricambi-Weiss simply does not care to do business with the US is the way I hear it.

I thought that Ducati Kaemna would take offense that I was not buying their version of the front fairing (the style with the big square hole under the lights) but they did not. Business is business and they seem to know this.

Hi,

says nothing in their conditions about the not accepting international orders... Though you will have to pay with bank transfere or Paypal.

It could be that they have not recieved your email. Your email my have landed in their spam box or been completely blocked. You should try to call them or just order the parts though their website. When they answer the phone make sure you say "Hi" so they know they need to speak english

I've had the same problem as well. I've emailed them twice. The first time, probably over a year ago, they said they had a US distributor who sells their parts on US ebay. I don't have his name at this time. I contacted him via ebay and he said that he might be able to include the part I wanted to the next container that was coming over. I didn't follow up after that and neither did he. And it kind of died after that. Sounds like a pretty poor effort at US distribution. Perhaps an entrepreneurial opportunity? The second time, a few months ago, they just said they don't ship to the US. I do know they have listing on some of the European ebay sites. But I've pretty much given up them. I don't know how their quality compares to Kaemna but there prices seem to be much better.

but it looks like you can just enter a US address. I went through the whole checkout process just to see.

Guys....

I've placed an order online, I know you can enter a US address.

I've emailed them several times asking for shipping costs, and how to send them money.

I will try calling today.

I was trying to find someone that has actually BOUGHT stuff from them before. Or possibly find someone in EU that wouldn't mind getting it and reshipping it to me.

I've bought several items from them, but always via eBay. Never had any problems with delivery to the UK and even got discount on P&P for multiple purchases.

Although this might sound obvious, you might need to make sure you've completed the ordering process. I recently ordered a nose piece, ending up with what I thought was just a confirmatory email. As it turned out, the link on this email (which I thought was just to track it, and thus didn't look at too hard) was the final part of the order - once opened and completed, the part turned up within 5 days. Good service and quality, although in my case the fit is so poor I might end up binning it............
