Led turn signals.. - Ducati.ms

Anybody who did this want to clue me in on what to use? Load resistors or LED flashers? Just wanted to see what you guys preferred,and why. Also,while im on the lights/wiring topic,When i took the seat and rear pieces off last night i see two unused plugs under the right tail piece(factory capped).What are these? For aux use? For bags?

Bike is a 2000 750SSie.

Back when I got my bike, I did this LED tail light with integrated turn signals.

two unused plugs? I know one of them is for the mathesis tester, aka the computer used to diagnose problems and change some settings.

i added led signals without the resistor because i think the faster flash catches drivers attention a little more.
