From your list of decals it looks like you have it right. I can't confirm the numbers as I don't have a 750 part number list.
The decals on our bikes comprise, upper and lower case letters as shown below
The "DUCATI" on the tank in front of the filler cap.
On left and rich sides of the fairing - "DUCATI", "Desmodue" and "750" or "900" depending on your bike.
On the rear seat cowl on both sides, it has "DUCATI SUPERSPORT i.e."
Painting - this is not for the faint hearted and whilst i learnt how to do it, there are some basic rules to follow. If you send me a personal message with your email address, I will send an article I wrote about doing it. Unfortunately the file size exceeds the limit allowed on this site.
Even if you don't send a PM, the basic rules are ...
The finished job can never be better than the preparation of the surface to be painted.
Cleanliness is a key to long lasting paint - I wear and frequently change/discard cheapo disposable plastic gloves from the supermarket.
Between each coat, use "wax and grease remover" to clean the surface and wipe over with tack cloth.
Don't wet the floor thinking it will keep dust down - this increases moisture content in the air and can stuff up the paint finish.
MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR - download the instructions from each paint supplier on how to use the paint. E.g. surface prep, time between coats, grade of sanding paper, ambient temperature etc. etc. Don't be daunted - it can be done at home.
Use a gravity feed spray gun.
Make sure your compressor has a water filter in the supply line to your spray gun.
Be patient and wait the recommended times for the temperature you are spraying in.
If you are doing what is known as clear over base (clear coat over a base colour) clear for amateurs like me is a tricky product to spray. It runs at the drop of a hat and sanding and polishing drips is a PITA.
I highly recommend a practice run on something else first so you can get used to how all the different coats spray, dry etc.
Have a look on youtube - thee are some brilliant vids on how to use a spray gun - distance from the piece to be painted, what to do at the end of a spray pass and much more.
Post some pics and I hope you are going to go yellow!
After i get a few other projects out of the way I am going to respray my whole bike and the CF in yellow, but pull the decals afterwards so where the decals were show thru to the CF.

PS - add to your signature where you are and what bike you have for future posts - makes it easier for those that maybe can help.
