For those other budget minded workshop types out there...

I've been working on getting a <cough> "Free" '95 900SS back on the road for about a year now. I have pretty close to zero budget for the bike, so everything I do I have to do with that in mind.

One of the things a previous owner did was to drop the bike on it's right side. Either they were going very slowly, or it was standing still. But the fairing was cracked all to hell.

I recently did a shade tree fix on it, and did a little write up in case anyone else out there is looking for a way to repair their panels on the cheap too.

Fixing broken panels on the cheap!

This is a write up for ABS fairings - many principles are the same.

In particular clamping the pieces together to align them correctly and using bridging pieces in high flex areas.
