Speedo cable removal

I need to get my forks off to send them tho Rick at Cogent. I'm down to the axle bolt and how the heck does the speedo cable assembly work? I looked in the workshop manual and that's no help, i'd hate to break it. I spun the knurled piece and nothing turns out. It seems very connected to the axle.
I'd love to have this off tonight so I can ship them tomorrow. Otherwise i'll have to wait until next weekend.

Never mind, figured it out.
Definitely not the same as my ST.
Sometimes it's in what the manual doesn't say!
