Quick Disconnect Broken - Fuel Tank

While changing out my upper coolant tanl, I some how managed to break off both the quick disconnect to the fuel tank (please see pics).

They cost around $ 65 and $ 46 a piece. I was wandering if there's a cheaper alternative.

Thanks,

Just for grins, check www.omega.com and look for their qd fittings. Some of the BMW guys are putting those on their K12RS fuel lines to replace the factory plastic parts and to eliminate gasoline leaks/fires.

i think you will find that you need new fuel line and to cut and fit the lines onto the barbed ends of the new metal connectors.
i made a solution for the 998/748 bikes. if you need any help, contact me.
i am making new fuel lines for 996's and 999/749's, too.
