Gia was rear ended this morning...

Okay, lets call it a "love tap". The idiot behind me obviously has some depth perception issues. At first I thought I stalled her, as the bike slightly jumped forward. But it was still running and I had never let up on the clutch. Then I checked my mirror to see nothing but bumper in my view. I turned around and the passenger gave me the “ We're sorry” look. I in return gave them the “ are you F* kidding me look”. I know she is attractive and people just want to be close to her, but seriously!!!!

Yes, just a good morning kiss on the rear tire. No knock over. No noticeable damage or change in ride. Just complete ignorance...

I would have gotten of the bike and gone up to there window..

You make one h*ll of an impact if you don´t raise your visor. Scare the living crap out of them. That way, you´ll save someone else a harder "tap".

Damn that's a good idea.

Amullo + Ducati + lovetap = Ducatinator™

Full leathers, smoke faceshield, kick the stand down hard, walk up to the driver's window real slow and determined - damn. Would scare the shit outta most peeps I think.

Good call.. Maybe i didn´t think this all the way through.

I HAVE actually done this to a driver when he cut me off so abruptly that i had a stoopie going trying to avoid him..

Passed around him and did the whole thing at the next stoplight. The guy lowered his window about 1" when i walked up to talk to him..

Whoa. You and Gia escaped that incident fairly well I'd say. I saw a rider years ago, just sitting on his bike at the red light, and witnessed him get TAPPED hard. Almost fell off the bike. He kickstanded it and had a motivational conversation w/ the driver. Pretty much since then, I keep my eyes on my mirrors for a car approaching me. As they're slowing down, I like to tap my front brake lever a few times to give a little extra visionage w/ the brake light to help them NOT tap me. Unless of course I've splitted up to the front. I figure it's nearly impossible to get rear tapped then, unless from another MC rider, now that'd be something huh?

and that's why Cali is the best

We can lane split and get to the front of the line and leave it to the cagers to be back doored. Plus, does that exhaust and open clutch sound good as you pass them cars. Whoot!
