Brake Pads!
So im replacing the brake pads on my 1098 and Im a little over my head as I know NOTHING about pads
anyone have any experience with these?
http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=5080
basically looking for something at least as good as the stock pads, I dont think I need anything with more bite.
If you have other recommendations please post a link to where I can find them!
thanks!

I've tried several pads, those are my favorite. good initial bite, very linear.
from my view point:
EBC HH pads suck, no initial bite until they warm up a bit, then not not linear at all, the hotter they get the more they bite.
DP race pads are really good, perhaps too aggressive for the street, very linear with good initial bite..

Brake pad threads will get as many differing responses as which is the best oil.
I put Galfer Greens in mine. Nice initial bite on the street when they are cold. When flogging the bike they are very linear with no surprises. The funny thing is that they are quite inexpensive.

THis is very interesting. I have recently switch from my Braking CM55 pads to the EBC HH pads and I am very very happy. I use these pads primarily on the track with a set of brembo full-floating rotors.
While these pads are cool they will not return too too much stopping power or feel, however when they have gentle bit of heat in them they perform fantastically. I find that they are very linear and the longer you hold them the harder they bite.
