Rare problem starting

My 1198 did some weird shit the other day. I always leave the bike in neutral before I turn it off. I got on a few hours later, inserted the key and nothing. Yes I pushed start I tried a few times, even tried putting it in gear and still nothing. Bike only has 800 miles! So I rolled it a couple of feet and tried again this time it started. Should I be worried?

neutral safety interock was engaged?

May have been operator error; unless it does it repeatedly, I wouldnt worry about it.

It's not that rare of a problem. Mine has done it a few times. I've had to turn the key off like 4-5 times, and then it's good to go. But your problem isn't that rare.

I think I forgot the kick stand down and that was the cause for it to turn off. Had the same problem last night.
