Surflex Slipper Clutch Plate Order (748

Hey guys,

After having my engine rebuilt by a Ducati Dealer, I experienced dramatic clutch slippage on my fairly new slipper clutch. After a quick tear down of such, it appears as though it may have had been installed incorrectly, therefore glazing the plates beyond repair. Due to this, I just purchased a new set of Surflex plates to install. Though, unfortunately, anyone who has bought Surflex plated knows they come without installation directions. My problem that now exists is the following. I was instructed to install the plates in the order that they came , however, this is simply impossible as the stack height is so high that the teeth on the pressure plate cannot connect with those on the hub, resulting in no clutch at all. When comparing the new clutch plates to the old "glazed" stack, the new one is quite a bit thicker. Therefore, as I understand, my only option was to eliminate a plate to make it function. While this has allowed me to ride again, I still feel as thopugh there is some slight slippage happening under throttle. Such as, it is unlikely that I could
