Pani Coolant Topoff

So my reservoir is down to min and I want to top it off. Will likely do a full flush when I do the next oil change. Ducati manual specs Eni AGIP Permanent Spezial Coolant.

For a top off, what are folks using? I assume mixing propylene glycol (eg Engine Ice) w/ the OEM ethylene glycol is a no-go. I prob only need ~ 300ml to get the expansion tank topped off.

thx

Take it to the Pinagle forum! It doesn't fit into the superbike forum!

...probably b/c it exceeds 999cc! (Spits on the ground)

But, a few oz of water(distilled is better) isn't going to make an iota of difference in the cooling system even if you run it like that for a couple more years.

What the boys already said, top it up with distilled water.
Never, ever mix coolants of different provenance, they very often turn acidic and attack the alloy of the cooling system.
