Naked 999?
Anybody ever see a naked 999 conversion? Any ideas on what could be done?

Naked 999
Uh-h-h-h, take a look at the new Monster S4RS; that should give you a pretty good idea.

Totally different chassis, apples and oranges. I'm talking about a Ducati version of the Aprilla Tuono or the MV Brutale. A true naked tube bar superbike.

someone posted up a pic of one a few weeks back...I thought it was kinda hot...and apparently he could turn it back into full plastics form in a couple hours with no trouble!

Thanks, I re-saved that one. I wish I could see the other side...if I could figure out what to do with the battery and associated electronics, I'd probably be off and running. As long as a Monster top clamp would fit, this could be pretty cool.

Just get the Tuono. You won't be disappointed.
