Tesa tape rolls arrived a few days ago and today I bit the bullet and started re-wrapping the harnesses. It took about three hours I think and about one and a half rolls of tape (19mm x 15m).

Front harness before:

And after:

Main harness before and after:

There are ExactStart starter cables mounted as well, hoping for even better cranking with my Shorai battery.

I bought some 1098S forks earlier, considering them as an "upgrade" since fiddling with the fender is much easier with it. The facelift 999 version is a real PITA. But... Last year I almost made a deal on some FGRT forks with billet bottoms but the seller did not sell them after all. A couple of weeks ago they were for sale again and I bought them. The 1098S forks are for sale now...

Forks are here. And next they are off to be serviced since the RH one is leaking

Yes, the black decals will be removed. Blue ones will be replaced with black ones and all bolts will be replaced with Ti ones.

It's been a while since the last garage visit but today I spent a couple of hours tinkering with the bike. Got the battery box back on the bike along with ExactStart cables and tucked the CPS cable better than last year

Bought an NCR ride height adjuster and mounted it today as well, looks a lot nicer than the stock unit. Length set at 285mm eye-to-eye.

Andreaz and Tiago C. like this.

Hate to be picky but are you changing the decal on the shock as well?

@xracer No, why? The original blue one was replaced with the black one earlier.

As you are changing the fork decal to blue I thought you would the rear to match. My forks and shock came with blue. No big deal.

The large black decals on the forks were removed permanently and the small blue ones will be replaced with black ones, like the ones on my original forks at the moment:
