848-remove gauge cover?

Anyone know how to remove the gauge cover? I'm not sure how to remove it or the LCD, which it seems to be mounted to via shock mounts. I can't find any visible bolts that would help remove it. Thanks for the help.....

Yeah I did it a few weeks ago, replaced the stock one for a CF one.

Remove the front fairing (this is time consuming). Remove the 2 headlight bolts that hold the air runners and headlights to the top fairing bracket and lower the headlights, Peek under the cover, unplug the dash, there are 3, 8mm nuts remove them, lift the LCD and the cover out as one. The 3 threads that the nuts came off are threaded into the dash you shoud be able to undo them by hand, just grip the rubber shaft and twist. That seperates the cover from the dash. reassemble in reverse order.

I'll check my work (on the bike) in the morning, It sounds simple, it actually is but it takes a lot of time to get to it and do it all back up again.

So I took the nose fairing off this weekend to install my carbon gauge cover. Wasn't that bad but the owner's manual forgets to inform of the allen bolt directly behind the center of the fairing between the headlights. I removed the two 8mm bolts from behind the fairing that are visible and it took me forever to figure out what was still holding the nose on, finally I saw the bolt. Piece of cake after that.
