which 1098s color to buy: red or black?
If you were going to buy a 1098s, which color would you buy? Red or Black.
Statistically, red vehicles get more tickets right?
Any advantages or disadvantages to red or black?
Thanks!
Brian

I prefer the black too. I find the contrast of the red trellis very appealing. Also, to me, the red in the 1098s does not seem to have the same quality and richness as the red of the predecessor Ducatis. Maybe I'm just colorblind.

buy the one that you like to look at the most. as far as disadvantages go, i don't see any with the exception of resale value, and that might be stretching it too.
congrats and best success

I bought a red one cus its faster.........
So think past the fairing color and think aftermarket add on color??? If its black you will need gold bits to give contrast and highlights, if you go red you can use black and gold for contrast.
Color is the easiest part dude, just go with the one you keep looking at

Red is the factory color they race with for Ferrari and Ducati. When you think of the Italian racing color what is it? RED!
