Hi all,

I have an issue with my bike after driving it for a couple of days in pouring rain. I have read several threads where it could be an issue with the antenna as it get rainy that affect the antenna. I have cleaned it several times, but the problem remained the same. I figured out if I removed the two nuts and lifted the antenna a little bit (1-2 cm) I had no issues what so ever to start it. Even in pouring rain. I drove like this on tour for several days. Now my bike is back in my garage and I still can't get it work with screwing the two nuts back on the bolts.

I wonder if anyone have replaced the antenna and was able to fix the problem once and for all?

Cheers,
Anders

I just had a similar "no start" with my '06 999.
Turned out to be the fuel relay switch.
First clue: when I turned the key the fuel pump was silent, so it was going to be either:
1) The pump
2) loose connections, corroded connections
3) Relay switch
It was the relay switch. $40 installed and I'm a happy Duc jockey again!
