Termi ECU change to US setting?
So my bike has Termi ECU and is says race mode when the key is on. Is it possible to change it to us/miles as everything is metric now. The manual does not cover that.

Not sure about the 1098, but on a xx9, you access the display setting by pressing both toggle buttons on the dash, then turning the ignition to the on position. The left button cycles through the setting i.e. 999EU, 749US etc.
I'd bet that the 1098 has a similar function, there's no harm in playing around with it.
BTW.. this will only change the dash disply and units of measurment. It does not affect any engine control parmeters

I believe that you have to hold the toggle button in the up position, then turn the bike on while still holding the button. After a few seconds it will start to flash then there are a few other steps to allow you to swap the display over to US. I had to do it on my bike when a new display was installed.
Call the dealer you bought the bike from, they can walk you through it. That is what I did. If you did not buy from a dealer, then go to Ducati.com and find a dealer to call and ask them to walk through it.

That sounds about right.
I would call a dealer to verify. No reason to chance activating the immobilizer or wiping out the ECU all together inadvertently.
