S2R wheels fit 916?

Found a set of Marchesini wheels from a S2R. Question is, does these wheels simply bolt on a 1998 916?

If they are bare (no rotors on the front) or came from a S2R1k they will but they have no speedo drive due to the fact the new bikes have an electronic speedometer.

You will find that all 6 bolt rotor front wheels (S2R, ST, 996, etc) have a speedo drive socket once you pull the seal out.
None of the 5 bolt rotor fronts (999, 749, S4RS) have a speedo drive provision.

So, the S2R/4R wheels will work straight on to a 916.
