New 996 Owner - MPG Questions

I'm a new ducati owner with a basic question... What's the normal range and mpg for an '01 996? I just purchased the bike and have been searching around for information, but just can't seem to find this little bit of detail! Thanks!

I can get 140-150 miles before fuel light comes on for my 2000 996.

FBF chip and Carbon Exhaust (half-system)
14/41 gearing on stock 5 spoke Marchesini's
Full Carbon nose to tail
160 lb rider
Slipper clutch
not so shy on the throttle 95% of the time

sweet! Thanks dude! I've got a rode trip in march from PA to FL... I was hoping to get about 150 miles per tank cruising around 90mph. I appreciate the info.

With stock gearing my 916 gets between 45-55 (Canadian) MPG at steady speeds (I once got over 50 in the steady 100 mph range). I usually fill up around 140-150 and still have at least 5 or 6 litres left. So my estimated bone-dry danger zone tank range is around 190-200. I remember hitting 180 on one tank and still having a bit left when I filled up. City riding is a different story, I'm sometimes lucky to get 20 mpg around town and my tank is on reserve before 70 miles.
