Exhaust note 999 vs 749
I've heard the exhaust of a 999 with both a stock exhaust and a half Termi system. It sounded beautiful! Is there a noticeable difference in sound between the 999 and 749 with a Termi exhaust?

I can't tell a difference between any I've heard with the same muffler.

not sure, but there was a change in the exhaust note of my bike when i big bored the 749 to 923cc. not sure if it's the higher compression or bigger bores though.

I have a mate with a 748R and that, in my opinion is the best sounding Otto valvola that I've heard.
Ok, how did you get 923cc? Reliability? I've got a 749R.

bcm put the 100mm bore kit in. not sure what it cost exactly as i had a major service and a few other things all done at the same time. the bike's got ~5k miles and maybe 8 or 9 trackdays since it's gone in and it's run perfectly (knock on wood).

Ducati performance catalog page 42 part # 96446603B. It also comes with the complete Termi exhaust and ECU.
