Who Makes The Tallest Double Bubble Screen for xx9?
I'm looking to mount my Valentine One radar detector on my 999 and I need a double bubble clear screen. I bought this one off egay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...QQcmdZViewItem
and not only do the bolt holes not line up but, it's only a fraction taller than the stock screen. I guess I'm looking for a triple bubble! Does anyone know of a screen for a 2003 999s that is really tall?

The 03-04 screens are different from the 05-06-07 screens. Any screen that says double bubble will be the same size regardless of who makes it, maybe someone out there has a taller screen they can show u. I see u got the 05 screen.I got ZeroG lots of room for a radar in there IMHO

The Fabri's that Moto sells look taller than Puig or Zero G's.

"Where do you find this sheite Chuck?"
In my search for a taller screen that dosen't look like the ZG or Puig or Fabri...I dare to be different.
Oh yeah, I'm sure it helps that as a kid I wore thick horn rimmed glasses with a patch over one eye to correct a "Lazy Eye" problem...basically, I was cross-eyed.
So, when you "cool kids" would pick on me, I secretly made plans to one day put a really ugly screen on my Ducati. I'mm fulfilling a childhood fantasy here!

Ahh now see, you made me feel all crappy.
As for the horned rim glasses, did your parents have a death wish for you? I think thats plain child abuse. My 2nd pair of prescription glasses were not real pretty either "looked like Dr. Drew's glasses on steroids". I had a really nice pair of 300.00 glasses originally and then I f'ed them up in gym so my Mom promptly took me to Sears and got a pair of el cheapo's that had plastic lenses that were at minimum a 1/4 inch think on the ends. Later I was mercifully saved by my mom with contact lenses at the age of 16. If not for that I doubt I would have ever got laid in HS. "Sorry for the Jacking Soarer"

That's alright, he ain't here.
Yeah, this was in the late sixties and very early seventies this all went down. I had two older sisters who had a whole pile of fun with me at that time. Bitches...J/K!!
If I had a clue, I would have protested big time, but....this was the late sixties...I was born in '61, so by the time I made it to "the age of caring about such things" I had ditched the glasses and told the parents I'll just deal with it. I made up for it for the next twenty years or so!

The bolt holes don't line up because it clearly states it is for an '05.
