Discussions on the 1098 versus the xx9 versus the xx8/916

People, please......

As this site has grown and as more people sharing their opinions, the flame wars have gotten very heated and out of hand.

Let's keep it simple.

Either you like the bike or not.
You like the strategy Ducati is taking or not.

But saying you rbike is ugly, your ar an a$$, blah blah blah, is not to be tolerated.

I am sick of two things here.

SPAMMERS putting crap on our site, and people attacking each other personally.

So, rather than reading my mods having a hard time keeping up with the 40 pages of opinions on the new versus, last, versus older models, to read 5 replies of "my dad can beat up your dad", lets make our jobs easier, and keep it adult and civil.

Some of you are mighty brave on the internet, but we can find your IP, we can email bomb your ass, and then come hunt you down and drag you behind our bikes.

One piece at a time.....

Don't piss off a Texan, he will come and get you..

Okay?

All I would ask is....

Anyone ride a motorcycle around here?

I have my ways......
If I have to take down the whole neighborhood.

To quote Aliens....

"Nuke 'em for morbid!"

I can only imagine what they might say: "Oh, the one across the street that sounds like an out-of-balance washing machine at idle?..."

I doubt they've actually ever SEEN it, it's much too fast for that..
You know... YELLOW!

....and enjoy the look of shock on their faces!

I'm not altogether sure what this thread is about to be honest. I'm an 800ss owner (and an adopted Texan) and I didn't think ANYTHING could get me away from the gorgeous ss line after waiting so long to get one, but then I saw these pics and I just GOTTA get one:

I've got to admit, I don't fully utilize my 900ss/cr... But, I also "need" one!
I can't wait for 2 December 06 to see it IN PERSON!!!

...and SageRider is right, that Rainman sure is silly :P
