Magnesium swingarm respring question
Howdy all, I'm about to install a magnesium swingarm 20mm longer than stock and am wondering how to respring it for a 210 pound fella like myself. I'll be using the progressive setting on the rocker. C'mon Molasses, I'm looking at you on this one...

Changes take place -you will need to replace the spring with a stiffer spring (around 8%-12% stiffer).
Stupid question - I presume you've got the whole kit (new arm and all ...?)

Yeah, I got the whole kit: swingarm, eccentric, rocker and all titanium fasteners including custom made ti swingarm pivot axle and shock/pushrod bolts and nuts (sweet...). That's precisely what I needed was a percentage of increase for the spring rate due to the longer swinger. So 10% increase in spring rate would be a good place to start Neil?

You are the man........I wanted one for so long on my 996s, but chose to trade it in for a 999r. Although I love my new r, I still wish I kept the 996. So I envy you lol.

I am looking for technical information to help me set up my suspension for my weight and configuration. Please don't highjack my thread; stick to the question or start your own.
