What is Stock Bodywork Worth?
I have had all of the stock bodywork for my 1999 748 (yellow with white number plates, monoposto) securely wrapped and tapped-up in beach towels, stacked-up out of the way in the garage for well over 5 years.
The stuff is in very good~excellent condition. I am trying to get an idea of what it is worth before I go ahead and take it all down, take it all out of it's protective covers and take pics. I know I could get more $$$ if I sell it off as individual pieces, but somehow that seems wrong - it should probably go as a complete set.
So, it's not for sale right now, but what would be a good (approximate) price to expect?

Hank, I know someone interested in buying then if you'd like to sell them.
Any idea if it would fit a 2000 996 bip?

I would'nt take anything less than 1500 for it. If someone scoffs, let them go out and find a COMPLETE, PAINTED, MINT, set for that. GL with your sale.........JOhn

about two years ago i got 1275 for a mint set (yellow) and it did not include tank and airbox.
i set of unpainted sharkskinz is more then 800 so in my opinion good condition oem bodywork should go for at least 1200.

I think a set of Shark Skins are in the $750 range unpainted. I'd keep them up in the $1,200+ range.
