r model frame construction - Ducati.ms

I know that the R model superbike frames use actual cro-mo, in a thinner tubing diameter. Can anyone (lucky buggers who have one) tell me how the tubes are welded? Is it by mig welding (seagull poop welds) or by Tig welding (artwork). Thanks, loads!

As far as I know all the frames are chrome-moly and are TiG welded.

I'm not sure but I think the RS and factory frames are the only ones which are TIG welded.

True, only RS's are TIG welded and only since about 1999.
