Painting carbon fiber

Is there anything special that needs to be done to CF to prep it for paint? I'm painting my rear hugger (motowheels CF) and was wondering if I'd need a flex agent for the paint, or some other additive as this CF is prone to bending, etc.

Any thoughts?

no additives but be prepared for little pinholes needing to be filled

No other prep work, sanding, etc?

My painter has said and others have agreed, the CF surface has to be as clean as you can get it to minimize the pinholes. They are more common it seems with clearcoating over CF as opposed to just painting over it. Sanding the surface is routine for adhesion purposes.
